IRS is based in the Piedmont Triad region of North Carolina. Our first operational facility is located in Forsyth County just southwest of the Hanes Mall area. Below is a description of this facility.

$8.00 - $20.00 - Residential Yard Waste, small trucks or small trailers
$25.00 - $100.00 - Dump Trucks (depending on size and type of load)
$75.00 - $150.00 - Dump Trailers, Walking Floors (depending on load)

Description of Processes:

The IRS Wood Recycling and Composting Facility is located about one mile from Rt. 158 (Stratford Rd) on W. Clemmonsville Rd. We are just past Griffith Rd. on the right just after you cross the Salem Creek bridge. Look for our signs and follow the gravel road up to our scale house.

This facility can accept any type of wood waste including, Land Clearing waste, Trees, Stumps, Brush, Yard waste, grass clippings, Farm waste (Hay & Straw included), clean wood scraps and pallets.

We cannot accept any painted or treated wood, railroad ties, previously contaminated wood or dirt, plastic pallets, Household Hazardous waste or any other type of liquid or solid Hazardous waste. This facility cannot accept any other Construction & Demolition type waste at this time.

In the near future, IRS will be obtaining a new permit to allow for the processing of other feedstocks for our composting operations. We will be accepting Pre and Post Consumer food waste along with selective waste products from area customers, including tobacco dust, vegatable waste, ground Gypsum board, Vineyard waste and other products that will provide a beneficial nutrients to our high quality compost soils and teas.
