April, 2006 – Press Release:

INNOVATIVE RECYCLING SERVICES, INC. is the one IRS that everyone will soon come to appreciate. Started over a year ago as a small Wood Grinding company, IRS has begun to expand into a force in the Recycling community here in the Carolinas. Recent activities have included the purchase of a new Morbark 1300 tub Grinder to add to their arsenal of equipment. IRS also recently opened their 278 acre facility in Winston-Salem, NC which will be home to their Wood Recycling and Compost Operations. The Wood Recycling operation is responsible for the recycling of all types of Wood Waste including the material brought to their facility. Materials accepted include Trees, Stumps, Brush, Yard Waste, Clean Wood, Pallets, and other LCID type materials. This waste is processed to create products such as Mulch, Boiler Fuel, Playground Covers and Compost base material. This operation also provides Land-Clearing services, Grinding at Municipal Yard Waste facilities, Wood Yard Clean-up services, Raw Material and Finished product hauling and Wood Pallet Recycling and Reuse services. As if this was not enough to keep IRS busy, they are moving full steam ahead with their development of their Large Type-3 Composting Facility. Upon final permit from the State, IRS will begin to collect and accept pre and post consumer food waste, vineyard waste, some selective industrial organic waste as feedstock for their Compost Operations. Their goal is to manufacture a High Quality, STA Certified Compost Soil that they will market to Farmers, Vineyards, Developers and many others. IRS President, Gary Bilbro says their goal is to make a product that will bring the highest benefit to their prospective customers. “Quality is going to be our market advantage” Bilbro stated. “We will provide our customers with a compost product that will reduce their cost, increase their production and help the environment at the same time. What more can you ask for?” To learn more about IRS check them out on the web at: www.irsrecycle.com. For questions you can call their offices at (336) 946-0356. IRS says their motto is, “Helping to Make your Waste less Taxing on the Environment”. It sounds like they have a plan to do just that.
